Welcome to our 2009/10 series of concerts.  We invite you to join Mostly Music Chicago for another season of fine chamber music concerts in the intimate surroundings of private homes.  Last year, we played to sold-out houses (and apartments!)  This season is shaping up to be even more exciting.

This season will continue our rich 35+ year history of presenting chamber music in the setting for which it was composed.  Our Artistic Director, Marie Alatalo, has scheduled a delightful season of concerts in Hyde Park, Near North and North Shore homes. You will hear inspired performances by seasoned musicians such as concert violist Roger Chase and Dempster St. Pro Musica (comprised of CSO players), and exciting new groups like the International Chamber Artists.

Plans are underway for our outreach program bringing chamber music to underserved audiences, such as the Chicago Public Schools, senior centers and children’s hospitals in the area. And mark your calendars for the Mostly Music Chicago benefit on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at The Arts Club of Chicago.

In these times of economic challenges, your financial commitment to the arts is crucial.  Please send in your season subscription as soon as possible.  Ticket sales cover only a small portion of our costs, and we hope you will support the unique programming by making an additional tax-deductible contribution. Help us to keep this small-venue art form alive and growing!
