Mostly Music Chicago presents chamber music concerts in small venues, primarily homes, around Chicago and the near north suburbs.  Our format provides a more intimate experience than the concert hall for both the audience and the musicians.  And it allows the music to be heard in a way that better represents the composer’s original intent.

At a concert you can generally expect the performers to talk a bit about the pieces.  During the reception afterward, the artists are usually available to mingle and enjoy some light refreshment with you.  We invite you to our 2009/10 season and to hear the difference a home makes.

In addition to our public concert season, Mostly Music Chicago is committed to providing outreach programming.  This season we will be exploring relationships with  the Chicago Public Schools and children's hospitals as well as providing concerts at senior centers.

Mostly Music Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  We are partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.  We also appreciate the support of the Quadrangle Club and, of course, we rely most heavily on private donations from people like you.
